Ankur Gupta MD, FACC is a skilled and highly experienced board-certified interventional cardiologist, whose priority is to provide timely and exceptional care to his patients. He believes in taking the time to listen to his patients to better understand their concerns. He specializes in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, coronary intervention, transcatheter valve replacement (TAVR), Left Atrial Appendage occlusion (Watchman ™) and PFO/ASD closure to treat the full range of cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease, to name a few.
Dr. Gupta established the first structural heart program in Tulare County by starting the Transcatheter heart valve program in 2018. He was the first interventional cardiologist to perform minimally invasive heart valve replacement in Tulare and Kings County and has a proven record of excellent results.
His dedication to advancing cardiovascular care extends beyond his practice as he continually engages in research to further innovate and improve treatment methodologies. Dr. Gupta’s commitment to his field is reflected in his active participation in several professional associations and his ongoing pursuit of excellence through continuous education and certification. He is the author of several peer reviewed articles and a recipient of research grants.
